What Is Actually in Blue Sky Rehydrate

Saline
Sterile salt water made for IV use, and the only ingredient in Blue Sky Rehydrate. Fluids given through an IV may help support hydration. How people feel varies.
Bag Size
Blue Sky Rehydrate comes in a 500 ml bag or a 1,000 ml bag. The sterile saline inside is identical in both; the only difference is how much of it there is.
Added Vitamins
None. Nothing is added to the saline in Blue Sky Rehydrate: no vitamins, no mineral blend and no amino acids. If you want vitamins after all, the drips further down this page carry them.

How Your Blue Sky Rehydrate Visit Works

Step 01

Pick the Chair You Want to Sit In

Give us a time and an address: home, the office or a hotel room. There is no clinic to travel to, so your Wellness Angel does the traveling, anywhere in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Step 02

The Screening Comes Before the Saline

Your Wellness Angel starts with an individual health screening, which decides whether Blue Sky Rehydrate is appropriate for you today. A visit may be declined based on it. Services are provided under physician supervision where required by applicable law.

Step 03

A Quiet Stretch with the Bag Beside You

Once the IV is placed, the saline runs and your Wellness Angel is right there the whole way through. When it has all gone in, the IV comes out and the equipment leaves when they do.

Who Books Blue Sky Rehydrate?

The simplest bag on the menu, for people just back from a run, a flight or a long day in the yard.

Done Running Before Lunch

Sixteen miles on the Lakefront Trail with a whole lake beside you, and not a drop of it any use. Now you are home with your shoes off and no plans to stand up. The drip comes to the sofa, and the rest of the day asks nothing of your legs.

Just Landed, Nothing Unpacked

Ten days of hotel beds and conference coffee, then a late flight and a cab home. The luggage is still zipped in the hallway and the mail is stacked on the counter. Leave both. A Wellness Angel hangs Blue Sky Rehydrate before you open a single zip.

The Weeding That Turned Into the Whole Yard

It started as a few minutes with the tomato plants. Then came the mulch, the hedges and the patch by the fence, all in full sun, and somehow it was three o'clock. Go in and sit where it is cool while a Wellness Angel starts the drip. The yard will keep until evening.

Straight Answers About Salt Water

Why pick a bag with no vitamins in it?

Because some days call for fluids alone, and Blue Sky Rehydrate keeps the ingredient list to a single line. At $209, it is also the least expensive drip we offer. If you would rather have vitamins in the bag, the IV menu sets out what goes into each of the others.

Does the bigger bag cost more?

No. Blue Sky Rehydrate is $209 for either the 500 ml bag or the 1,000 ml bag, so the size never changes the price.

How much of my afternoon will it take?

Plan on 30 to 60 minutes for the drip. Your individual health screening comes first, before the IV is placed, and belongs to the same visit, so give yourself time for both.

Does it have to be at home?

No. Wellness Angels come to offices, hotel rooms and events as readily as to homes, anywhere in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs across Cook, DuPage, Lake, McHenry, Will, Kane, DeKalb and Winnebago counties.

Is Blue Sky Rehydrate for emergencies?

No. Blue Sky IV provides scheduled, non-emergency wellness services, and it is not a substitute for emergency or primary care. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. For a scheduled visit, your individual health screening decides whether the drip is appropriate for you that day, and a visit may be declined based on it.
