The Week Starts at the Front Desk

Plenty of Schaumburg's working week happens in rooms that belong to nobody in particular. People land at O'Hare at the start of the week, head west on the tollway and check in for a few nights of meetings. The lanyards in the elevator belong to a trade show. The family at the breakfast buffet is here for a wedding on Saturday. Around all of it sit office parks, hotels near the interchanges and, in the middle of everything, Woodfield.

On a week like that, an appointment somewhere else in town is the one thing the itinerary has no room for.

So the visit comes up to the room instead. Your Wellness Angel sets the stand by the window or the work desk, and the rest of the day stays where you left it. For the people who live here rather than check in, the same visit lands at the kitchen table, and the driveway stays exactly as it was.

From the Knock to the Pack-Up

Fit it between meetings. Choose a time the calendar can spare, the drip you want and the address, whether that is a hotel room, a conference room or your own living room. The visit runs the same way in each. Add-ons and their prices are on the IV menu. Everything for the visit arrives in your Wellness Angel's kit bag, so all you need ready is somewhere comfortable to sit.

Nothing is placed until the individual health screening is done. It decides whether the drip you asked for is appropriate for you today, and a visit may be declined based on it. Services are provided under physician supervision where required by applicable law. Blue Sky IV provides scheduled, non-emergency wellness services. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

With the screening complete, your Wellness Angel starts the IV and hangs the bag from its stand beside your chair. Most drips run 30 to 60 minutes, and your Wellness Angel keeps an eye on the drip the whole time. The laptop can stay open. When it is finished, the IV comes out, the kit bag is repacked on the spot, and nothing of ours stays behind.

The Itinerary Has Room for This

Leave the Rental Counter Out of It

If you flew into O'Hare, took a rideshare and never went near the rental counter, the appointment won't need a car either. Your Wellness Angel comes to the hotel and up to your room. There's no clinic to track down, and no second trip down the tollway after the last meeting of the day.

The Conference Room Is an Address Too

The meeting room your company has taken for the week will do nicely. A Wellness Angel can take a corner of it, or an empty office down the hall, while the agenda carries on. If the whole team wants in, our Groups & Events page covers how a shared visit is arranged.

Wedding Weekends at the Hotel

Schaumburg hotels also host weekends that have nothing to do with work: weddings, reunions, milestone birthdays, a bachelorette party that has quietly claimed an entire floor. Your Wellness Angel can be in the suite on the wedding morning or the day after the reception. The party never has to leave the room while the drips run.

Schaumburg sits in northwest Cook County, and a visit can happen anywhere in town, from the hotels by the interchanges to the subdivisions off the main roads. It doesn't have to stay in the suburbs, either: if the week moves on to a downtown hotel or an office in the Loop, a Wellness Angel can meet you there. Same visit, taller building. Across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, we come to Cook, DuPage, Lake, McHenry, Will, Kane, DeKalb and Winnebago counties.

Carry-On Questions

Do we meet in the lobby, or does the visit happen up in my room?

Up in the room. Your Wellness Angel sets up around whichever seat you choose: the armchair, the desk chair or the edge of the bed. Nothing needs to be moved, and nobody has to wait in the lobby. The individual health screening happens in the room first, then the drip, and the kit leaves with your Wellness Angel when it is done.

I live in Schaumburg. Do you only come to hotels?

Not at all. Homes, offices and events are just as much on the list as hotels, anywhere in Schaumburg. Blue Sky IV has no storefront in town, or anywhere else, so every visit happens at an address you choose. At home it runs in the same order as it would upstairs in a hotel: the individual health screening first, then the drip, then the pack-up.

Our team is here for a sales kickoff. Can you set up at the office?

Yes, in a conference room, a training room or a quiet office. Each guest is screened individually, and a visit may be declined based on that screening. Corporate visits are covered in more detail on our Groups & Events page.

I fly home Friday. How is Blue Sky Shield different from Blue Sky Tri-Shield?

Blue Sky Shield and Blue Sky Tri-Shield both pair vitamin C with zinc, and each of those plays a role in normal immune function. Blue Sky Shield, at $299, adds a B-vitamin complex. Blue Sky Tri-Shield, at $329, adds glutathione, an antioxidant, instead. Either way, the drip goes ahead only if your individual health screening finds it appropriate for you. How people feel varies.

How long should I block off between meetings?

Most drips run 30 to 60 minutes. Plan on longer for NAD+. It is given slowly, over 2 to 4 hours depending on the dose, because a faster infusion can cause flushing or nausea. Your individual health screening comes first, so leave room for it on the calendar as well. There is no travel time on your side, because the visit comes to you.

The client dinner went long. Can I get The Morning After at the hotel?

Yes, the same as any drip on the IV menu. Inside The Morning After are a B-vitamin complex and a mineral blend of magnesium, zinc, manganese and copper. It costs $309 and runs 30 to 60 minutes. The Morning After contains ondansetron, a prescription anti-nausea medication, given only when a provider orders it. The individual health screening comes before any of it.
