Chicago is right next door. Your sofa is even closer. Wellness Angels, our nurses and nurse practitioners, come the rest of the way, to your Oak Park house, apartment or office.

Mobile IV Therapy in Oak Park

Right Up Against the City Line

Oak Park begins where Chicago ends, and Austin Boulevard is the seam between them. The Green Line and the Metra share an embankment through the middle of the village, the Blue Line runs down the center of the Eisenhower, and the Loop is a train ride away. The streets are known for their houses: Prairie-style homes, tall Victorians with wraparound porches, two-flats, and courtyard buildings set around a strip of lawn.

Living this close to the city puts almost everything within reach. It does not add a single hour to the week, and an appointment across town would still want one.

There is no clinic in the village and no storefront on Lake Street, so there is nothing to drive to. Your Wellness Angel comes to the house, the apartment or the desk downtown instead. In a two-flat with family on both floors, the visit can happen upstairs, downstairs or both.

A Visit That Fits Any Floor Plan

Before anyone climbs your front steps, three things are settled: the address, the time and the drip. Add-ons and their prices are on the IV menu. When the day comes, the drip you chose, a stand and the supplies all arrive together with your Wellness Angel, who wears navy scrubs with the Blue Sky IV logo.

Every visit starts with an individual health screening. It decides whether the drip you asked for is appropriate for you today, and a visit may be declined based on it. Services are provided under physician supervision where required by applicable law. Blue Sky IV provides scheduled, non-emergency wellness services. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

With the screening done and the drip cleared, the IV is placed, and it stays in your Wellness Angel's care throughout. Most drips run 30 to 60 minutes; NAD+ runs 2 to 4 hours, depending on the dose. Then the IV is removed, and the stand, the tubing and the empty bag all leave with your Wellness Angel, back out the way they came in, leaving the room as you had it.

Reasons to Stay Put in Oak Park

Skip the Trip Into the City

Most appointments in the city come with a trip east, a block to circle for parking and a meter to feed. None of that applies here. The visit and the rest of the afternoon both stay at home, and the city is still there for whatever is actually worth the trip.

Walk-Ups and Wraparound Porches

Whatever the building, the visit fits inside it. In a Victorian it might be the wingback in the front room; in a garden-level studio, the bed; on the top floor of a two-flat, the kitchen table. Tell us which one when you book, and the kit comes out right there.

Bring the Cousins, Bring the Colleagues

When the cousins descend and every spare bed in the house is taken, a group visit can happen right there in the front room, with a chair for each guest. Colleagues can do the same around the big table at the office on a quiet afternoon. Family gatherings and office afternoons both have a place on our Groups & Events page.

Our Service Area

Between Harlem Avenue and Austin Boulevard

Serving: Evanston Highland Park Schaumburg Naperville Hinsdale Oak Park Orland Park Tinley Park

Oak Park runs from Austin Boulevard on the east to Harlem Avenue on the west, and from North Avenue down to Roosevelt Road. Wellness Angels come to any address inside those lines: the blocks around Lake Street, the quiet residential streets to the north and south, and the apartment buildings along the train lines. East of the boulevard, the same visit carries straight on into Chicago, and on across the rest of Cook County. DuPage, Lake, McHenry, Will, Kane, DeKalb and Winnebago counties are part of the service area as well, so the map is a good deal bigger than the village.

What the Neighbors Ask

I live in a walk-up with no elevator. Can you still come?

Yes. The kit comes up the stairs with your Wellness Angel, whichever floor you are on, and you never have to carry anything or wait at the curb. Before the visit, tell us the floor and the best way in: the front buzzer, the gangway gate or the back stairs off the alley.

Can the visit happen on our enclosed front porch?

It can, if that is where you are most comfortable. The porch just needs space for your chair with the IV stand next to it. Your individual health screening comes first, wherever you sit. It decides whether the drip you asked for is appropriate for you today, and a visit may be declined based on it.

Is Chicago itself in your service area, or just Oak Park?

Both. Chicago is part of our service area as well as the village. That suits anyone who lives on one side of Austin Boulevard and works on the other, or who spends half the week in the Loop. Pick the side that suits the day. The drip does not change with the address.

I don't have a car. Does that matter?

No. Blue Sky IV is mobile only, with no storefront and no clinic, so there is no address you need to reach. A Wellness Angel comes to your home, your office, a hotel room or an event. How you get around the rest of the week makes no difference.

How much of a day at home should I keep clear?

Most drips run 30 to 60 minutes. If NAD+ is what you have in mind, plan for a longer stretch: it is given slowly, over 2 to 4 hours depending on the dose, because a faster infusion can cause flushing or nausea. The individual health screening happens before any drip, so build it into the time you choose.

My book club wants to try this together. How does a group visit work?

It happens at whichever house is hosting. Every guest has an individual health screening first, because it decides whether a drip is appropriate for that person that day.
