What Is Actually in Debloat

An amino acid, two minerals and a family of B vitamins, most of them with a hand in normal protein metabolism. How people feel varies.

L-Glutamine (an Amino Acid)
Among the amino acids not bound up in proteins, L-glutamine is the most plentiful, both in the blood and in muscle. The body makes most of what it uses, and puts it to work building proteins and carrying nitrogen between tissues, part of normal protein metabolism.
Magnesium
Magnesium is a mineral, and roughly half of the body's supply is stored in bone. The rest is spread through muscle and other tissues, where it helps hundreds of enzymes do their everyday work. It plays a role in normal muscle function.
Zinc
Zinc counts as a trace mineral because the body needs so little of it, yet it is present in cells throughout the body. It plays a role in normal protein synthesis and in normal immune function.
B-Vitamin Complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6)
Found in more bags on our IV menu than any other ingredient. In Debloat, B6 is the one to note: it plays a role in normal protein metabolism. All five take part in normal energy-yielding metabolism.

How Your Debloat Visit Works

Step 01

Circle a Day, Then Share the Address

The address can be a living room, your office or a hotel suite, downtown or out in the suburbs. Nothing needs setting up ahead of time.

Step 02

Screening Required, Questions Welcome

Every visit starts with an individual health screening. It decides whether Debloat is appropriate for you today, and a visit may be declined based on it. It is also the time to ask about anything in the bag.

Step 03

The Stand Goes Up, and So Do Your Feet

Debloat hangs beside your chair while you get on with doing very little. When it is done, out comes the IV, and your afternoon picks up where it left off.

Who Books Debloat?

People coming off a holiday weekend, a beach day or a day they kept clear on purpose.

A Holiday Weekend Spent Up a Ladder

The spare room got two coats of a gray the can called calming, and the ladder is still in the hallway. Then came Tuesday and the inbox. By Thursday the walls are dry and the email is under control, so Debloat happens on the back porch.

The Friend Who Planned the Beach Day

Nobody asked you to organize it, and yet the umbrella, the speaker and every towel you own are piled by the front door. The group chat expects a spot on the sand by ten on Saturday. Friday afternoon belongs to Debloat and the sofa. The pile stays untouched until morning.

A Day Off Kept Clear on Purpose

A month of weekends went to other people's plans, so you took a weekday off and told nobody. Laundry going, phone on do-not-disturb. Debloat runs beside the couch under a Wellness Angel's eye, and the calendar stays blank until tomorrow.

Worth Asking Midweek

Is L-glutamine in any other drip on the menu?

No. Debloat is the only drip on the IV menu with L-glutamine, and it is not on the add-on list either. Magnesium, zinc and the B-vitamin complex are all easier to find elsewhere on the menu.

Debloat already has zinc. Can I still add Zinc Sulfate?

You can ask. Whether Zinc Sulfate makes sense on top of the zinc already in the bag is settled at your individual health screening, the same as for any add-on. Taurine, Methylcobalamin B12 and Glutathione are on the list too. Add-ons and their prices are on the IV menu.

My mom and both aunts are coming over. Can they have drips too?

Yes. Each of them goes through the same individual health screening you do. Everything else about group visits is on our Groups & Events page.

Will I be on my own at any point during the drip?

No. Your Wellness Angel is with you for the whole drip, from placing the IV to taking it out. Services are provided under physician supervision where required by applicable law. Blue Sky IV provides scheduled, non-emergency wellness services. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Somewhere Between Weekends
